Last month I spotted just before my period, thought it was my period, but it stopped. Then two days later I started my period. This month it is five days early, and before my period actually started, I was passing lots of mucus with brown and grey clumps (sorry to be so graphic). Then it started and it is very heavy. It will be normal and then all of the sudden it will gush. I had to change clothes in the night and a couple of times when I went to the bathroom, there was so much blood, it didn't look like water in the toiled, just bright red blood. I am a little worried. I am on day four and I started having hot flashes today. No gushing today, thank goodness. I am thirty three and I just had a baby two years ago.
