With MD's taking leave for the holidays (my ob/gyn is one of them.. ugh),and families doing the same, maybe something will open up, perhaps someone will cancel. You are right, sometimes the nurses will order the test instead of doc doing it. Have you tried calling your clinic there and talking to the 'advice nurse'? They do a lot for me when I need assistance. MIght be worth a shot to help 'ease your mind'. If something cant be worked out, January is just around the corner, though it may feel further away.
