Hello, I am 38 yrs old and dr thinks I am in perimenopause. {If it makes any difference I have no uterus due to severe prolapse, but did keep ovaries}. Could you please help me understand something? What can cause the estradiol levels to be so low {and still dropping----it was 12 points higher 8 months ago!],besides perimeno; and with the following levels listed....don't I need a little testosterone as well? Estradiol-15 FSH-6.8 testosterone-24.0 TSH-1.92 T-4----6.4 FT-4-----.87 With the FSH that low---how can I be in perimenopause? Can you reccommend HRT that has a lower risk of stroke associated with it? I had a mild stroke on the BC pill many yrs ago. from smoking.I no longer smoke. My symptoms are hot flashes, low libido, vaginal dryness, faintness with hot flashes and chills, dry skin, hair growth, palpitations, and dizziness. All neurological and cardiac problems have been ruled out. Sorry so many questions, my dr is retiring Dec. 30th....I can't get in to see him again and would like to be well informed with my new dr in february!

Thank you and Merry Christmas Joyce
