Severe ConstipationFrom: Natalie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 14 Dec 2001 11:20:13 -0600 (CST)
I have read several topics regarding constipation, but I still have many questions. I have always had a problem with constipation. However, the last year or so, it has gotten out of hand ( 4 times in a months time). I do have endometriosis and have been diagnosed with a retroverted uterus.... Could these be related to this? I have heard different stories. Also, I seem to get these hard "very noticeable" knots in my left side (they are more noticeable when I am haven't been to the restroom. What I am not sure about though, is why is it my left side? Is there a part of your colon found there? I had my ovary and tube removed on that side and it's almost like something is wrong on that side. I was in the hospiptal last month with what they thought was a bowel obstruction....but they were wrong. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy after christmas..... but still very curious. Is one problem causing the other one? Sorry this is so long and gross, but I am tired of feeling full and hurting all of the time. Thanks so much!
