My doctor suggested that I'd switch from Alesse to Yasmin to help control the breakthrough bleedings and bloatedness I'm experiencing with it. What I like about Alesse on the other hand is that it has helped me a lot with PMS related moodiness and that it didn't diminish my libido. I've been on higher dose BCP's before and always had problems with them that are worse than the issues I have with Alesse. Therefore, I'm a little hesitant to try Yasmin with it's higher estrogen level. Has anyone here switched from Alesse to Yasmin and if so, what are your experiences with Yasmin?
