Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: Depo-Provera" I am a 32-yr old and was on Depo-Provera for 10 yrs. I have been off for 1-yr and on Ovcon 35 BCP. I now have a <10 Estradiol level, osteopenia, a thyroid tumor (already had surgery for), and now a pituitary adenoma and possibly adrenal adenoma too (awaiting test results for it). I feel this has all stemmed from the Depo-Provera shots. Is there any research studies showing other patients have the same endocrine problems I have?
