Well, maybe I'm using the wrong term. My heart feels like it's pounding hard (not fast though) and seems to hesitate sometimes. This makes my feel like I need to catch my breath or cough, but it is very quick, lasting only a second or two. Also, I seem to be retaining a lot of water when this happens, as my pants feel very tight, my fingers feel swollen and stiff, and I drink a lot (because I feel very thirsty) but I don't urinate much. Any ideas about why this happens to me?
