Patti, thanks for answering my post. I do know why I'm taking both the Metronidazole and the Doxycycline. I'm being treated for Bacterial Vaginosis. I'm due to take my last dose this coming Thursday. I just wanted to know if it was safe/ok for me to try to get pregnant three weeks from today. By then all the antibiotics (both the Metro & the Doxy) should of been out of my body right?

Like I said in my earlier post I read on the bottle of the Doxycycline that before trying to get pregnant the patient should ask their doctor if it alright since the Doxy is potentially dangerous to the baby. My husband and I are currently not sexually active cause I need time to heal. Thanks for your reply..
