Kelly Shanahan, MD, FACOG: "Re: [Birth Control] Changing the day of your period" I'm currently talking Orthy-tri-cylen and get my periods on Thurdsay's during the "green"/sugar pills. I haven't seen my soon to be husband in 4 months and get to see him finially next month. The problem....I will have my period. I want to know if there is a way in which to make it so my period starts on Monday so it will be gone when I see him. Could I start taking the "green"/sugar pills a few days early? and then continue my old way when I start the new pack? Should I start the whole pack a few days early so I do start taking the "green" pills early and then go back to the original Sunday start date?
