Endometriosis is when the uterine lining grows OUTSIDE of the uterus. Adenomyosis is Endo within the MUSCLE of the uterus. So, I highly doubt she saw Endometriosis...Adenomyosis can't be diagnosed with an Ultrasound either. She was going really well when she said she isn't the one to make the diagnosis, etc., but blew that out of the water by telling you about having Endo.

Also, doesw anybody know of anything that would make Having said all of that, there could be endo behind the uterus, which would cause painful intercourse, and could make transvaginal ultrasounds painful, but remember, Endo can NOT be diagnosed with Ultrasound. See what your MD says.
