You might want to try taking a warm bath to help soothe. If that doesn't help, try some ice (the best way to do this is get a bag of frozen peas or frozen corn, wrap it in a towel and place between your legs. This is best because it can mold to you better than an ice bag with ice cubes).

She is right about that. The Radiologist looks at the pictures and makes the determination.

You are right...only a laparoscopy can diagnose Endometriosis. Endometriosis is when the uterine lining grows OUTSIDE of the uterus. Adenomyosis is Endo within the MUSCLE of the uterus. So, I highly doubt she saw Endometriosis...Adenomyosis can't be diagnosed with an Ultrasound either. She was going really well when she said she isn't the one to make the diagnosis, etc., but blew that out of the water by telling you about having Endo.

>How can she say she sees it by only doing these ultrasounds?

She can't.

Having said all of that, there could be endo behind the uterus, which would cause painful intercourse, and could make transvaginal ultrasounds painful, but remember, Endo can NOT be diagnosed with Ultrasound.

See what your MD says.
