I've been using Mircette for almost a year now and it is the only pill I can really tolerate. I tried Alesse and got nausea but didn't on Mircette for some strange reason. I have heard that it is better for headache sufferers too. Probably because the "inactive" pills are not all that inactive. They contain 1mcg of estrogen, I believe, which keep you from experience big hormonal flucations as you would with other pills. I did have one month of horrible breakthrough bleeding with Mircette. I had taken the pill for roughly 6 months, when I had to start taking another medication (Lamisil) for toenail fungus. I had heavy bleeding for almost 3 weeks. No doctor would admit to a Lamisil/Mircette interaction, but once I stopped the Lamisil, I have not had any more bleeding. Christine
