Hard, swollen labia majoraFrom: S.H. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 20 Nov 2001 11:29:55 -0600 (CST)
I am 20 years old. Yesterday I investigated a discomfort in the vaginal area. I found a hard swollen bulbish lump located on my labia majora near the vagianl opening... It is not the color my labia normally would be. There is pain when pushed up upon or pinched a little. There is no itchyness. It feels like it is brusied, but I haven't done anything that would cause brusing that I know of. I have a history of trouble with yeast infection, though I have that under control now. I am also on birth control (ortho-novum 7/7/7's) and I do not know if that has something to do with this. It feels almost like cartilage, but I know cartillage doesn't belong there. This has happened to me three or four times before and it usually goes away within two or three days. I don't know if it has to do with the birth control, or wearing tight pants, stress, or something more serious. Please help, this freaks me out and I don't have the funds to see a doctor.
