I am currently on Lo-Ovral, 28 pk. For the first time I continued taking the birth control. In other words, I skipped the placebos. Approximately 3 weeks ago, I had a massive pain on the left ovary. I passed gases and it went away. I now finished my bc pack. Therefore, I am awaiting my menstruation. Since yesterday I've been having mild lower abdomen pain, I presume due to my uncoming menstruation and last night a unresistable pain in my right ovary. I was also experiencing soft stools. I took 2 motrins and the pain went away. Also last night, when I wiped I had dark brown blood but my menstruation has not began as of today. My questions: Could the pain in my right ovary be due to gas, the onset of menstruation or combo? Could the dark brown blood be caused of my continuing taking the bc? I only took them continous for 1 month? I look forward to receiving your input.
