As we've discussed many times in the archives, if a women has gone
through menopause and hasn't had a period in a year, she needs to see a
gynecologist and get checked out. The possible testing including an
exam may also include a sonogram, a sampling of the lining of the uterus
(endometrial biopsy) and possibly a D&C.
