I wanted to reply that I am also in Canada and will be having a marsupialization of a Bartholin's cyst at the end of November. In researching this online, I also found that there were no local anasth./in-office procedures available here. I will be going to a hospital in Toronto to have it done under general anaesthesia. I've had this cyst for 10+years and it has grown from about the size of a pea to the size of a ping pong ball. It has never been infected but has been bothering me in the last month or so. Altho it sounds huge, it is mostly inside, but I find intercourse irritates it and it causes me pain, hence my upcoming surgery after having the cyst for so long.
