Given the decreasing dosage of estrogen and progesterone, it is very important to take the pill around the same time every day. Not taking the pill around the same time every day definitely increases your chance of getting pregnant. This is especially so using the mini-pill, or the progesterone only pill. you have a little more leeway using the estrogen and progesterone pill, but the best advice is to take the pills at the same time every day.
