hi,

i'm 23 years old, and i've started taking Aviane two months ago (note: it's my first time on the pill). my first month on Aviane got a little messed up, i was travelling, and didn't take it regularly. during the whole month i was bleeding (spotting), which stopped before i even finished my first packet. now, on the first day of week 4(my second month), i started bleeding...is that normal? i thought that i'm supposed to bleed as soon as i complete a whole packet. also, when i first started the pill, i felt a little nausous in the mornings for a few days. but, as i first stated it, it happened that my period started that very same day (i'm a sunday starter), so i'm not sure whether the nausea came from the pill or my period, which is usually associated with very painful cramps for me...but, since then i haven't experienced any pain or nausea. not till about 2 weeks into the second pack, after having a couple of drinks at night, i vomited in the morning. does it mean that i vomited the pill ( i take it before going to sleep)? why did i vomit? a few days later, i had twice the amount of alcohol at night, and didn't experience any sickness at all...this was during the time of taking the orange(hormonal) pill. the nurse at my doctor's office told me that it was probably because i didn't eat enough before i took the pill...but, the time i vomited i actually had more food in me than the time i didn't vomit, but had more drinks...

please let me know what you think....

thank you.
