Hello. I don't understand exactly how the pill works - if one can choose to have their period at any time by simply skipping that week of pills, and still be protected during that time... how is it that by skipping 2 pills (accidentally), you're NOT protected? Shouldn't this mean that during the week where you're not taking active pills, you're not protected? I'm on ortho cyclen, and I just want to make sure I know when I'm safe!
