Hi anon:

If this is the first time you've noticed a lump on your breast including your nipple you should possibly be checked by you doctor. The good news is that if it hurts it's usually not breast cancer. Many women (myself included) have fibrocystic breasts, which just means you have a lot of lumps and bumps and your breasts get sore a lot. It's not too bad if you watch what you eat and drink, and to be honest it's only annoying and no big deal. This lump may be the beginning of something like this, as you are still developing.

For more info you can go to http://www.imaginis.com/breasthealth/lump.asp which will help you to evaluate the lump. If you are concerned you should see a Dr. to put your mind at ease. Best wishes.
