Montgomery, MD: "Re: [Birth Control] Irregular periods after taking the pill" I have been on birth control since I was 14 due to an abnormal period which lasted one month (heavy-caused by iron deficency anemeia)I am now 21 and stopped taking the pill a few months ago. I did not get my period until two months later. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. It has been a month and two and half weeks since that period and nothing yet again. Is this normal? It was my first peroid when I started the pill at 14 so I couldn't really say there were irregular in the first place. Do I need to be worried? (I am no longer anemic.)
