I saw my urologist for my follow-up appointment yesterday and he is very glad I am seeing the urogynecologist so soon. I am hoping to hear some positive news, but am also prepared to hear the not-so-good news. I am just going to get established, I cannot gear myself up for another surgery. The urologist that is the CEO of the center I work at told me that I really shouldn't wait with all of this going on, however, I don't have enough sick time built up since my surgery in 02/01 to be off again. I am hoping that she gives me time-frame with which to work. >From what I am hearing, it is not dangerous to live with a 3rd degree cystocele, rectocele and enterocele...just uncomfortable! I can live with uncomfortable until I get some time built up. My gyne (who did the original surgery) says that it is not good that the repair came down in such a short time...!
