It can also happen if you missed one or more pills, or sometimes even if you took pills late. It can happen when certain medications interfere with the Pill. You can also have unpredictable bleeding for other reasons. I suggest you call your gynecological health care provider for advice specific to your situation. S/he may recommend you return to the office for a recheck.
