Muthyam,

You can be able to do it without worrying to get pregnant for the first day to the fifth day of your period but if you ovulate 5 days after the 5 th day the 4th day or the 3rd day. You can get pregnant because sperm live up to 48hrs to 52 hrs in suitable enviroment. Doing it 2 days after your period is over you have a much more chance of becoming pregnant because your starting to produce mucus and having your body to get ready to O a much more suitable enviorment for sperm. If you have no mucus at all(Dry Day) you can't get pg. You can get pg if you have creamy milkish lotiony cm(cervical mucus) or the eggwhite looking type of cm that stretches those type are when your most fertile and when conception is most likely to occur. Some people say conception can occur anytime from day 7 to day 22. So more likely your safe after you had known that you have Ovulated for sure and the first day of your period. HTH
