I ahve been receiving the Depo shot for the better part of 5 years, I am not the one with the question or concern. My friend Leanne, who is a fourty year old schoolmate of mine, with one adult daughter, has been having alot of problems with her period being really heavy and unpredictable, this being the reason why I got on the Depo shot in the first place, I suggested it to her, to possilby keep the bleeding own to a dull roar. Her concern was her blood pressure. I have never had any problems, but, I am also 26 years old. Can Depo amplify high blood pressure if you already have a propensity for it? What are the possible other contraindications? I would appreciate any feed back you could give me. Sincerely, Laura
