pelvic ultrasoundFrom: petra (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 23 Oct 2001 18:29:24 -0500 (CDT)
I had a Pelvic Ultrasound done due to major pelvic cramping and stabbing. My question is my uterus measures 8.8 x 5.7 x 3.5 cm is that normal? My endometrial echo complex is thickened to 16mm. And there is a large amount of free fluid in the cul-de-sac. There are also Nabothian cysts in the cervix. I got this ultrasound done on the 10/4 i have called my doctor 5 times and no one has called me back. All i get is voicemails, the front desk, says the Dr. and nurse are busy i will have to leave a message. So i went down to the Hospital today and requested the results for myself.. and that's what the final result stated ( what i mentioned above). My stomach is very bloated i do not have continuous cramping it comes and goes. I do have a 3 yr old daughter and i am 23 years of age. Can you please give me any information on what's going on with my body. Me and my husband have tried to get pregnant for 6 mnths, and we couldn't. So we finally gave up. But i am scared that i will never be able to have children again. Oh, i just wanted to mention that i did have a liitle lump in my inner thigh on the right side, the size of a jelly bean, but it went away. Thank you in advance for any advice that you can provide.
