Re: 2nd trimester spottingFrom: L. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 23 Oct 2001 17:02:23 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Joanna, I had threatened miscarriage with my second daughter (I have had miscarriages in the past too) but this time she was fine, and went on to be 8lbs 4 full term. It was due to a ruptured placenta, there was some bleeding outside of the actual sac. Basically sometimes there are no reasons for miscarriages or bleeding during pregnancy, it just happens. I think you should see you doctor though, and check with them, I just wanted you to know that there are people out here that have bled through pregnancy and sustained it to have a lovely child. Get plenty of rest and see your doctor, and no sex until your doctor says its OK. Hope things work out fine. Lisa At Tue, 23 Oct 2001, Joanna wrote: > >I am currently 14 weeks preganant.
