Post coital bleedingFrom: Alice (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 23 Oct 2001 13:01:44 -0500 (CDT)
I have post coital bleeding on and off for two years now. I am 39 years old.I have endometriosis, fibroid tumors and cysts on my ovaries. I have had normal paps, a colposcopy with biopsies, and a endocervical cutterage. All came back fine.I had three ulta sounds, and a hysterosonogram to check my uteris for abnormalities. Everything came back o.k. My doc says that my cervix is inflammed, and bleeds easily.I do not know if I should just accept this. Should I have LEEP,and a uterine biopsy done just to be sure? I have heard of people having all these test come back o.k. like mine and they still had cancer. My friends cancer was not picked up uuntil she has a LEEP...and she had the paps, and colopscopy come back fine!!!! HOw can this happen? How can I be sure the bleeding is NOT cancer. Can I just have a cervix that bleeds easily?
