Maybe reply: William McIntosh, MD: "Re: Can Keflex cause bleeding?" I have endometriosis and just had another laparoscopy on Sept. 28th. I had my first period on Oct. 1st and was in massive pain and bled for 7 days. While I was recovering from that I started to get a cold and I ended up with sinusitis. A doctor put me on Keflex for 10 days (250mg)/every 6 hours. My question is, I have 4 days left of the antibiotic and I plan on finishing them, but for the past 3 days I have had bad menstrual type pain/cramps with lower back pains. I am starting to develop a lightly bloody, thick discharge and don't know if the is a complication of the surgery or if the Keflex could cause this. The pain wakes me up at night and I have to stay on 800mg of ibuprofen to be able to function. Can you help?!?
