Lap & hyroscopy (I think that's how you spell it)From: AMooney (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 14 Oct 2001 18:08:05 -0500 (CDT)
I have had lower left pelvic pain on & off for quite sometime. Had an ultrasound & nothing has shown up. Had dysplasia & from what I am told, it is gone for the time being. The pain seemed too be worse while ovulating & while on my period, but too be honest it's there all the time. So went on Depo...started right around mid Aug & haven't had a period since. But the pain is so much worse & almost always there. Each time we go too the out patient, they give me percocent (spelling?) & send me home....everyone admitts that there is no real sense in doing an exam since I am having a lap & Hys in early Nov. Is there any pain medication that I can ask for that will at least work. The percocent isn't really enough...works a little but not really. The last time they gave me 30mg Codine *2 every 4 hours...not too bad. But you know what that does too the rest of your system hee hee. Not much fun. Any help you be wonderful. Just waiting for surgery & not really sure if I can it much longer. Thanks
