Katie have you kept track of the exact timing of your pain - I would recommend that and then go back to your doctor.

I have been experiencing SEVERE pain around my right ovary four hours after I take my Ortho-cyclen pill. I started the pill almost four months ago. I have started taking the pill before I go to bed in the hopes I would sleep through it, but have been waking up during the night in extreme pain. I am wondering if anyone else has this side effect? It starts exactly one week after I have started my new pill cycle and is gone during the inactive pills. This is the same pain I used to get when ovulating, and definitely involves cramping (you can actually feel pulsating/cramping if you put your hand on my right side). I have been told that it takes time for my body to adjust etc etc. but this is four months now and there is NO WAY I'm going to keep on like this. Has anyone else experienced something this specific and obviously related to the pill?
