Jenny --

I'm not a doctor, but I sympathize with your concern. I had a similar thing happen when I was in college; sometimes our cycles are off for no good reason -- and I'm convinced that sometime just worrying about it can keep it from starting.

However, if you think of the worst-case scenario, remember that your family loves you and will be there for you -- no matter what. However terrifying it might seem, if you were to discover that you are pregnant, be sure that both you and your boyfriend confide in your parents ASAP.

If you're 'lucky' and your period shows up, you might consider asking yourself what price you're paying to be sexually active. Is it worth that price? It would be a good time to evaluate your decisions and see if you want to re-think them.

Let me know how this turns out -- I'll be thinking of you!
