Painful OrgasmFrom: Robyn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 10 Oct 2001 18:54:42 -0500 (CDT)
I have terrible cramping pain during orgasm but not usually during sex. >From time to time I just get the same pain out of the blue. I had an ultra sound and they found the left ovary enlarged (that's where the pain is) and two anechoic cysts. Several intramural fibroids anterior and posterior as well. No doctor is willing to treat this, they just say take nsaids (advil or alleve) but that doesn't seem to work. They discussed many options including birth control bills but won't make a definitive choice. I am anxious about this and dread having sex. I am 50 and still menstruating regularly but for only 2 days a cycle. What would be the least invasive next step?
