[Birth Control] +2 white cells on prebacterial culture screening.From: alli (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 8 Oct 2001 20:40:39 -0500 (CDT)
discharge sent me to the Dr. a negative yeast and negative BV came back from lab. Only 2 white cells on the sample. Dr. said this is well within the normal range (everyone has up to +2 white cells). However, growing the culture just to rule out Gonorhea, staph and or strep. No other signs of infection on exam, all looks normal. Should I expect a negative culture or are +2 cells a sign of infection...in your book? Thanks
