yeast infection? There has also been a slight white discharge, which is normal for me. I figured it was a yeast infection so I picked up some Monistat. After using it, the burning/itching increased 10-fold and had me doubled over in discomfort. I'm now assuming that maybe it's not a yeast infection and that I should stop using the monistat. Is that correct? I haven't had a yeast infection in over 10 years, and I can't remember if I had this reaction before.
