'Men ' in GYN FieldFrom: kelley (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 5 Oct 2001 19:13:14 -0500 (CDT)
I hesitated even replying to this message. I thought what a waste of time. However, my husband and I tried many years to conceive and had no luck. I'll never forget the months and months of clomid and pelvic exams. My GYN was as disappointed as I was each month when I didn't get preg. The day I did test postive for a pregnancy, my GYN -(oh I forgotis a MAN) had tears rolling down his face. These were tears of JOY for us. We later had another child-again after months of clomid and pelvic exams. He also cried when I miscarried two different times. My dr. retired after helping many, many women. I have another MALE GYN whom I feel is wonderful and caring. I am always nervous before these dreadful exams, but not one time did I think he was having "FANTASIES" or sexual thoughts-especially over a 175lb. women!!haaa. Seriously, thank you drs. for your care, devotion, and advice that you give us. You have lessened many of my worries that I have had. God Bless You!!!
