[Birth Control] Nor-QD

I was recently switched from Estrostep Fe to Nor-QD. I typically have light periods. In the past when I've been switched from one birth control to another, I might miss a period; and I've had periods that started on different days of my dummy pills. It typically took about six months to become regular enough where I knew to the day when my period would start. I was told I might have irregular periods on Nor-QD; however, it has been 56 days since my last period started. I have taken 2 at home pregnancy tests - both of which tested negative. Currently, I'm experiencing all the smptoms of PMS and it is time for my period. Should I wait another few days before contacting my physician? I know it's hard to tell how a medication will affect a specific individual, but is there a chance my periods will become regulated on this pill? Even before I went on birth control, I could almost tell to the day when my period would start. The physician which swiched my medication was very unhelpful at giving me any answers to the questions I had about this medication. I've read the included pamplet, but it didn't answer specific questions either. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
