Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: clomid monitoring and hormones" First of all, my husband is military and I am limited to what doctors I can see. My doctor prescribed me 50mg clomid but I am troubled and hesitant to take it because she isn't monitoring me. The only thing she wants is a blood test taken on cd 21 and a pregnancy test before starting the provera again. Is this enough monitoring? I have had 2 ovarian cysts rupture in the past. I am 21 and for some reason my periods stopped for 1 year. The last 2 months they have been coming again without provera but this month my cycle was only 18 days. What could be the cause of this imbalance? I have been screened for prolactin, thyroid ect... Also, I had a child 22 months ago and concieved while on birht controll pills.
