Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: [Birth Control] question" Hi, i've been taking orthotricyclin since january of 2000, so it will be 2 years in january that i've been on it. i finished my period about a week and a half ago and i seem to be spotting now. my boyfriend and i use condoms inaddition to the pill, so i am not worried about pregnancy, but the reason i had originally gone on the pill was to regulate my period, however i now use it as birth control too. i'm just wondering if i need to go on a different pill and what the specifics are about spotting. thank you so much for any info youcan give me.
