i am no doctor and know that everybody is different, but it sounds like your reaction was pretty severe. there must be another pill that will work better for you. in the past i have been on desogen and that worked well for me (am not on it now bc of health insurance. i'm on orthotrycylen myself.). your doc was right in that taking it at night should help with the nausea (you will be asleep so you won't feel it). her suggesting you take it for a few months was probably just to see if the side effects will wear off...doesn't sound like they are. i say talk to your doctor again and tell her exactly what you just told us, there must be a better pill for you. good luck!
