They are narcotics and therefore they are addictive. That being said, you need to function and it has been said that narcotics don't addict those who really need them, just those that don't. Not sure how true that is (not my field of expertise) but something to think about.

If the pill doesn't do it, has anyone considered GnRH agonists such as Lupron with add back therapy (Pregnancy=no periods, Lupron=no periods)?
