Research or informed >replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! The regular monophasic oral contraceptives are the best form of contraception for women with PCO. In general by shutting down the ovaries, they shut off the androgen production. If a woman with PCO has no need for contraception(abstaining, lesbian relationship, etc.) 10 days a month of Oral Provera works very well at preventing her from developing endometrial hyperplasia or cancer.
