Reply: I am on this site for my own research but read your question and
have some info for you. I am a speech pathologist who performs Modified
Barium Swallow studies (MBS). The test provides information as to what
is happening when you swallow from putting the food/drink in your mouth
until it enters the esophagus/tube to your belly. It also performs the
function to make sure no foreign particles are entering your
airway/lungs. The test does not identify diseases per say. I am sorry
I am not Familiar with barrets disease.
