[Birth Control] longer than usual period while on the pill

I am a nineteen year old girl who recently went back on the pill after interupting for two months (I just finished my second month of being on it.) This month, my period came a week early and is lasting longer than it does even when I am not on the pill. I have had no other symptoms. I have also been fairly sexually active in the past month. Is this anything to be concerned about?
