Am I sure - fairly, both mother and sister had extensive neurological workup for the same phenomenon - little cross hatches like the lense of a slr camera in one eye, lasts about 2o -30 minutes, goes away. Have been having them since early thirties, had the headache only twice. ED husband does not think they are TIA's (and if something weird happens that he's not comfortable with, I become a guinea pig). I decided to bypass this particular workup since mom and sister both were diagnosed with migraine equivalents and describe the exact same thing as I experience (and mine respond to migraine triggers - chocolate, red wine and nitrates.)
