Hello, you're right, elevated CA-125 levels have been linked with endo. But with this you have to keep in mind that many of us with endo have normal CA-125 levels and some women without endo have elevated levels. I'm not sure exactly what problems you are having conceiving, but they could be caused by endometriosis if you do have it. If your dr does a lap and you do indeed have endo, and it is removed you may have a better chance of getting pregnant, and they will be able to tell you if endo may perhaps be interfering with you trying to conceive. As for the lap, it's not as bad as it seems. I know that if someone would have told me that before I had mine I would have laughed in their face, but it's really not. I was finally diagnosed with endo last year after having symptoms for 11 years. I have talked to many women who have had better luck conceiving after the endo is removed, but this usually depends on where the endo is and how much you actually have. Having surgery is a big decision no matter what kind it is, I know. I believe that its better to know where you stand with it and where the endo has implanted itself. I just wanted to encourage you to do a little more research before deciding not to have a lap. There are a lot of sites that you can learn more about endo from and a lot of forums for women with endo. All of the forums that I have been to have very loving, supporting, and intelligent women and they will try to answer any questions that you may have. I wish you the best of luck with conceiving and with everything else that you may face. Take care of yourself. Love and Prayers, AJ
