OCP and migraine with aura

Could someone please comment on the current thinking regarding the use of OCP in older women with occasional (1-2 times yearly) migraine equivalents (the aura usually without the headache, from start to finish usually 20 - 40 minutes) with high normal blood pressure, ok (not great) lipid profile, taking an aspirin a day. I am specifically interested in the relative risk of ischemic stroke. Also, any relationship with ERT and migraine aura? (hysterectomy, bilateral oopherectomy coming soon.)

Thank you.
