Montgomery, MD: "Re: [Birth Control] Yasmin-Alesse-Acne" Hi, I have always had very mild acne- maybe a couple of small pimples near my period, definetly nothing to be embarrased about (I'm 24 years old). When I went on Alesse I developed Hormonal Cystic Acne that has now scarred my skin. I am currently on Yasmin (for 3 days now) but was wondering if I went off birth control pills all together if my skin would return to its previous state or if I have screwed it up permanently by being on Alesse for so long?
