During my yearly exam my doctor said my uterus felt big so she sent me for a sonogram. It showed endometrial thickening of 2 cm. Yesterday my doctor did a uterine biopsy and said she was looking for results of either a polyp or uterine cancer. How common is it for a woman of my age to have uterine cancer? If it is a polyp and it is removed, can I still have children? I've read a little about hyperplasia, my doctor did not mention this.
