Simple endometrial hyperplasia without atypia and chance of progression?

I was wondering what the chances are of simple endometrial hyperplasia without atypia progressing to endometrial cancer WITHOUT treatment?

I was diagnosed with this about 6 years ago, but never received any treatment for it and I imagine the lining remained thick until I went on the Pill two years ago and started having regular periods again. I recently had a transvaginal ultrasound because of frequent breakthrough bleeding on the Pill, mild pelvic pain and pain with orgasm and the ultrasound came back normal. Does a normal ultrasound guarantee that I am free of cancer? My gyno doesn't think I need to have an endometrial biopsy done, because my ultrasound and PAP test came back normal. Although since going on the Pill, I always bleed during my PAP tests, so I wonder how accurate they truly are. Because of the pelvic pain and mild pain with orgasm, I can't help but be a little concerned that something may have developed during the years I didn't receive any treatment for the hyperplasia.

Any advice or information to help ease my concerns would be greatly appreciated.
