vaginal orgasms, but no clitoralFrom: Zoltan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Aug 2001 00:04:29 -0500 (CDT)
My girlfriend and I are both 21 and have been together for almost a year. The sex is great for both of us, but one thing I have noticed is that she doesn't seem to respond much to direct clitoral stimulation. However, she responds VERY much to penetration, even if it's just a finger. I know there are supposedly two types of orgasms, but I've always figured clitoral ones were far easier to achieve, and that vaginal ones were rare. Is it possible for this to be reversed? Actually, we may not even be talking about orgasms here. While she gets extremely aroused during sex, she never seems to go "over the top" into orgasm-land. I asked her if she had had one, and she said she wasn't sure (neither of us are particularly experienced). From what I've heard, if you're not sure if you've had one, you probably haven't. Can anyone explain this?
